Great service and even better Battered Cod than most places I've had Cod at and the Curry Gravy is great and all priced well

For anyone that is after a more than just a decent fish and chips this place hits the spot! This shop under new management is absolutely amazing, the batter is crispy and light. Even my picky eater little one who never eats fish batter has for the first time eaten entire fish with the fish batter its that good. 😋 The chips were the perfect chip shop chips. Proper British fish and chips just like in the old days that I personally find impossible to find. Their Curry sauce is very decent too. The price is honestly very fair and portions are huge even for a small size. Customer service is fantastic, not only they are serving the best fish and chips but also their chicken kebabs is a must try. This shop is our absolute favourite now, Will defo recommend them.

Super fish & chips under new management, friendly well organised staff they even left out refreshments for customers to enjoy while they were waiting for their orders. The fish was excellent light and fluffy not greasy, portions were a good size. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

First time here since it has changed hands. Place has been refurbished. I like they have an old photo of the shop parade. Clean, fresh and bright inside. Big menu - plenty of options. The staff was on the ball, ready to serve you, very friendly. I had Cod Fish with chips, it was tasty, definitely recommend. Onions rings were nice too. Definitely try this Fish& Chips Chip Chop out :)

Village Fish & Chips is probably the best fish & chips in spelthorne area that never disappoints. I ordered a large cod, though it seemed closer to a medium in size. That said, the fish itself was delicious crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The chips were golden, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. Saveloy wss fresh & curry sauce was really nice & thick everything tasted fresh, and the quality was excellent. the service was quick even during busy times. Overall, a great experience, but I’d love to see that “large” live up to its name next time!

The food and service is amazing! The fish and chips/ donner meat and chips are spot on and very tasty, great value for money and definitely recommended.
